This is an air force roundel I've created (by request) for the Kingdom of Sarawak timeline, an alternate history written by my AH.com colleague Xhavnak (now known under the newer username Woolly Mammoth).

This is the roundel used by the air force of the fictional, allohistorical Kingdom of Sarawak, a monarchy based on the real historical region (and former monarchy) of Sarawak on the island of Borneo. Xhavnak's timeline posits a post-WWII scenario in which the Sarawak monarchy decided to stay independent, rather than joining the mainland's Federation of Malaya, as it did in real 20th century history (leading to the creation of modern day Malaysia).

The heraldic hornbill seen at the centre of the roundel is derived from the one traditionally used on the coat of arms of Sarawak, even to this day (as the coat of arms of the Malaysian state of Sarawak).
